Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders

Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders layer ground beef and diced onions cooked together on slider buns with multiple layers of American cheese, cooked bacon pieces, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Baked until melted and topped with buttered buns sprinkled with sesame seeds, these sliders offer a compact, savory finger food combining familiar burger flavors in a small form.

Description

The recipe starts by sautéing diced onions in olive oil, then adding ground beef seasoned lightly with salt, cooked until browned and onions become translucent. The cooked beef and onion mixture is drained and layered over the bottom halves of slider buns topped with slices of American cheese. Another layer of cheese is added before breaking bacon into pieces and arranging them over the cheese. Pickle slices, ketchup, and mustard provide classic burger condiments.

The sliders are covered with their top buns, baked covered with foil to melt cheese and warm through, then uncovered and brushed with melted butter and sesame seeds before a final toast in the oven. This process creates a warm, cheesy, and savory bite, combining the textures of soft buns, juicy meat, melted cheese, and crisp bacon.

These sliders are suitable for parties, casual meals, or snack times where easy-to-eat, familiar flavors are desired. The small size allows sampling multiple servings.
