Bacon Egg Muffins
Description
This recipe involves preheating the oven and partially cooking bacon strips until slightly crisp but still flexible. The bacon lines each muffin cup to form a flavorful shell, into which eggs are cracked. A light sprinkle of ground black pepper adds subtle seasoning.
Baking the assembled cups at 375°F allows the eggs to set uniformly while the bacon crisps yet retains its shape around the eggs, creating a textural contrast between the tender yolk and savory bacon. The muffins bake for about 20 minutes or until eggs are fully set.
These muffins make a convenient, portion-controlled breakfast option with protein from both bacon and eggs, easily served individually. They suit grab-and-go meals or as a hearty start to the day.
