Bacon in Oven 425
Description
Start by preheating an oven to 425°F and lining a baking sheet with aluminum foil. A cooling rack is placed on the foil-lined tray, and the bacon strips are arranged on the rack with space between each to avoid sticking together. The tray is then placed in the preheated oven.
The bacon cooks for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on desired crispness and thickness. This method evenly cooks each strip with less splattering and is hands-off compared to frying in a pan. The high heat renders the fat and crisps the bacon edges while keeping centers tender based on timing preferences.
This approach is practical for making multiple servings easily and produces consistent results for sandwiches, salads, or breakfast sides.
