Description
This cheese ball begins with softened cream cheese blended smoothly with ranch dressing mix, most of the crispy cooked bacon, diced green onions, and shredded cheddar cheese, creating a flavorful and creamy base. After chilling to firm up, it is shaped into a ball and coated with a mixture of pecans, remaining bacon, cheese, and green onions to add crunch and additional savory notes.
The mixture balances the tanginess of ranch seasoning with the smokiness of bacon and sharp cheddar, while pecans contribute texture. It can be served immediately or refrigerated until needed, making it a flexible option for entertaining.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese Softened, container of
- 12 lices Bacon Cooked and Crumbled, divided
- 1 Tbsp Ranch dressing mix
- 1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese Shredded, divided
- 3 talks green onions diced, divided
- 1/2 cup pecans chopped
Instructions
- Make sure your cream cheese is softened so you can stir it. If needed, soften it in the microwave.
- Mix in 3/4 of the bacon, ranch mix, 2 diced green onion stalks and 1 cup of cheddar cheese until combined.
- Place in the fridge and let cool until the cream cheese gets hard.
- In a small bowl, stir together the pecans with the remaining bacon, diced green onions and shredded cheese.
- Pour this mixture on a piece of saran wrap. Place the harden cheese on top.
- Roll the cream cheese into the shape of a ball and roll is over the topping ingredients so the pecans, bacon and cheese cover the entire the ball.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy!
