Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts

Report
Bacon Wrapped Brussel Sprouts bring together crisp roasted Brussels sprouts individually wrapped in bacon and coated with brown sugar, baking to a caramelized finish. The result is tender vegetable centers surrounded by crispy, sweetened bacon, offering a combination of savory, sweet, and smoky flavors.

Description

This recipe involves trimming Brussels sprouts, seasoning them with salt and pepper, then wrapping each sprout with bacon slices cut in half. Each wrapped sprout is dipped in brown sugar, which caramelizes during roasting, adding sweetness and a sticky glaze on the bacon exterior.

Baked at 400 degrees Fahrenheit on a foil-lined tray, the wrapped sprouts are flipped halfway to crisp the bacon evenly while allowing the sprouts to become tender without becoming mushy. The toothpicks secure bacon in place during cooking and are removed before serving.

This preparation highlights texture contrast with crispy, caramelized bacon and slightly softened Brussels sprouts. They are best enjoyed fresh while warm but can be stored refrigerated for up to five days.
