Bacon Wrapped Tots with Homemade Ranch
Description
This recipe calls for slicing bacon into thirds and wrapping each tater tot completely before baking at 425°F. The high heat crisps the bacon while heating the tots through. Baking on a lined sheet spaced adequately prevents the wrapped tots from sticking together or unwrapping during cooking.
The ranch dressing serves as a cool and creamy dip complementing the rich, smoky bacon and the crispy, tender potato inside. The combination delivers a well-rounded snack experience with textural and flavor contrasts.
To keep the bacon secure during baking, toothpicks may be used to hold the bacon in place. This dish is best served fresh from the oven to maintain crispness and flavor.
Ingredients
- 24 tater tots
- 8 lices Bacon
- 1 cup ranch dressing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Using a sharp knife or kitchen shears, slice each bacon strip into thirds.

- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and bacon is rendered.
- Serve with Ranch salad dressing for dipping.
Notes
- Securing each bacon-wrapped tot with a wooden toothpick can prevent the bacon from unrolling during baking.
