Ingredients

  • 12 chicken drumstick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Prepare a baking sheet with foil and brush it with olive oil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together olive oil and seasonings. Pat drumsticks dry using paper towels then add them and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  4. Remove the drumsticks from the oven, brush them generously with barbecue sauce, and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
