Baked BBQ Chicken Recipe

Quickly whip up this healthy baked bbq chicken in under 30 minutes. With a homemade bbq sauce, the flavor is fantastic!

Ingredients

  • 4 whole chicken breast pounded to less than 1 inch thickness, boneless skinless
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a shallow baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Whisk together Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and next seven ingredients. Pour ⅓ of sauce into prepared baking dish. Place chicken in a single layer on top of sauce. Pour ⅓ of remaining sauce over chicken.
  3. Bake chicken 20-25 minutes until cooked through. Top chicken with remaining sauce if desired and serve hot with preferred sides. Enjoy!

Notes

  • STORE leftover baked BBQ chicken breast in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • FREEZE. Store in the freezer for up to 2 months. It is great to use in other recipes.
