Baked Brie and Fig Jam Bites
Description
This simple recipe arranges peeled brie pieces inside pre-baked mini phyllo shells, which are then baked until the cheese just melts, getting soft and slightly gooey. Upon removal from the oven, a topping of fig jam adds a fruity sweetness, while toasted pecans contribute crunch and a nutty note. The phyllo shells provide a crisp base for this contrast of textures.
The quick bake preserves the brie's delicate flavor and creaminess. These bites are designed to be served immediately to enjoy the warm, melty brie combined with the jam and nuts’ freshness. They can complement a cheese board or stand alone as finger food.
