Baked Brie with Cranberry Sauce

Baked Brie with Cranberry Sauce combines warm, melty Brie cheese topped with a fresh cranberry sauce made from simmered cranberries, honey, and water. Garnished with chopped pecans, this dish offers a creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet appetizer that pairs well with crackers or sliced apples, ideal for sharing at gatherings or as a seasonal treat.

Description

This recipe begins by removing the top rind from a round Brie cheese and placing it on parchment-lined baking sheet. The cranberry sauce is prepared by boiling cranberries with water and honey until the berries soften and the mixture thickens to a jam-like consistency. Sweetness can be adjusted with additional honey if desired.

The prepared sauce is spooned over the Brie, which is then baked at 350°F just until the cheese becomes melty, roughly 10 to 15 minutes. The dish is topped with chopped pecans and extra honey for added texture and sweetness.

Serve the warm Brie immediately alongside crackers or sliced apples, where the creamy cheese and bright cranberry sauce create a contrast in flavors and textures. This appetizer is suitable for holiday occasions or any time a flavorful cheese dish is desired.
