Baked Brie With Fig Jam

Baked brie with fig jam is the perfect easy holiday appetizer. With only 4 ingredients, it tastes amazing and has minimal prep time which makes it great for entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Brie cheese rind on
  • 3 tablespoons fig jam
  • ¼ teaspoon rosemary finely chopped, fresh leaves
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180c.
  2. In a small bowl combine the fig jam, finely chopped rosemary and chopped walnuts.
  3. Place the wheel of brie in the middle of a small cast iron frying pan (or similar) mine is 12cm/4½" in diameter (base measurement).
  4. Spread the fig jam mixture evenly over the top surface of the brie.
  5. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, or until the brie is melted and oozy.
  6. Serve immediately.

  • Optional reheating: If your skillet/ramekin isn't microwave-safe, you can line it with baking/parchment paper so that you can lift the cheese out and transfer it to a microwave-safe container for reheating.
