Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 Brie cheese wheel, 12-14 oz
  • 1/4 cup jelly or preserves or jam, flavor of your choice
  • 3 Tablespoons pecans chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place the brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Use a sharp knife to make a criss cross pattern onto the top of the brie approximately 1/2 inch deep into the brie.
  4. Top the brie with the jelly.
  5. Toss the pecans and honey in a small bowl until the pecans are coated with the honey.
  6. Place the pecans on top of the jelly.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is soft.  The cheese should feel very soft in the center to the touch.
  8. Move the cheese to a serving platter.  Then serve with your favorite type of crackers and enjoy!

Notes

  • Any flavor of jelly or jam works great in this recipe.
  • You can also use sliced almonds, walnuts, pistachios or pumpkin seeds instead of pecans if you prefer.
