Baked Buffalo Chicken Jalapeño Poppers

Baked Buffalo Chicken Jalapeño Poppers feature halved jalapeños stuffed with a creamy mixture of cream cheese, shredded chicken, scallions, cheddar, and hot sauce. Coated in seasoned panko crumbs and baked to a golden crisp, this appetizer balances spicy heat with rich, tangy flavors and a crunchy exterior. They are served hot, suitable for gatherings or snacks where finger foods are welcome.

Description

This recipe fills jalapeños, halved and deseeded, with a blend of cream cheese, sharp cheddar, shredded chicken, scallions, and Frank’s hot sauce, imparting distinctive buffalo flavor. The stuffed peppers are dipped in egg, coated in a spiced panko crumb mixture containing paprika, garlic, and chili powder, enhancing flavor and crispness when baked.

Baking at 350°F until the exterior crisps to a golden brown produces a contrasting texture between the crunchy breading and the creamy, slightly spicy filling. Serving immediately while hot preserves textural contrast and flavor intensity, making these poppers ideal as appetizers or party snacks.
