Baked Chicken Apple Meatballs

Baked Chicken Apple Meatballs combine ground chicken with finely minced onion, grated apple, fresh parsley and dill, breadcrumbs, egg, and seasoning. Shaped into floured balls and baked until cooked through, they are flavorful and tender with a subtle sweetness from the apple. Cooking in the oven with oil spray produces evenly baked meatballs with a lightly crisp exterior, suitable as a main dish or appetizer.

Description

This recipe blends minced chicken with grated apple and fresh herbs, including parsley and dill, adding moisture and a hint of sweetness to the meatballs. The onion is peeled and minced finely to integrate well into the mixture. Breadcrumbs and egg bind the ingredients, which are combined thoroughly to a smooth paste before shaping.

The meatballs are shaped on a floured surface with wet hands to prevent sticking, then coated lightly with flour before baking on a non-stick paper lined tray. Spraying them generously with cooking oil supports browning during baking at 200°C (390°F) for 30 minutes. Turning or shaking the tray midway assures even color and cooking.

These meatballs can be served on their own, with sauces, or as part of a larger meal. The recipe balances savory chicken with fresh herbs and apple sweetness, and the moist baking method ensures tender meatballs without frying.
