Baked Cream Cheese Jalapeno Poppers Recipe

Baked Cream Cheese Jalapeno Poppers feature hollowed jalapeno halves filled with a blended mixture of softened cream cheese and shredded white cheddar, seasoned with chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Baking softens the peppers and melts the cheese to a bubbly filling. A dusting of chili powder and chili flakes adds an extra layer of mild heat and color. The poppers offer a creamy, spicy appetizer with a tender texture.

Description

This recipe calls for halving and deseeding fresh jalapenos, which are then filled with a well-spiced cream cheese and white cheddar mixture. The blending of chili powder, garlic powder, and cumin creates a warm, aromatic flavor. Baking at 350 degrees until the cheese bubbles softens the peppers while keeping their shape.

The poppers are finished with a sprinkle of additional chili powder and chili flakes to add mild warmth and visual appeal. The texture contrasts the slightly crisp pepper skin with smooth, melted cheese inside.

These jalapeno poppers work well as finger foods for gatherings or snacks when a creamy, mildly spicy bite is desired. The recipe scales easily for larger batches.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 8 ounces White Cheddar Cheese shredded

  • The recipe scales up easily for bigger groups or parties.
