Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted, unsalted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth low-sodium
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped, fresh
  • lemon for serving, wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4 minutes on each side until golden.
  3. Place the seared chicken in a baking dish.
  4. Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chicken broth, and lemon juice in a bowl. Drizzle over the chicken.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Remove from oven, baste with the pan juices, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
