Baked Pork Chops Recipe
Description
The dish begins by preparing egg noodles cooked and tossed with butter, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and milk, creating a creamy, cheesy pasta base. Pork chops are coated with a mixture of Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, smoked paprika, dried parsley, garlic powder, and black pepper for flavor and texture. After searing in butter in a cast iron skillet until golden brown, the pork chops finish cooking in a hot oven.
Resting the pork chops briefly under foil helps redistribute juices, ensuring tenderness. The noodles are then served topped with the pork chops for a hearty plate combining creamy and crunchy textures alongside savory spices and rich cheese.
If a cast iron skillet is unavailable, a regular skillet and baking dish can be used for sautéing and baking. This combination makes for a satisfying comfort meal blending crispy crusts, tender meat, and soft cheesy pasta.
