Baked Ranch Chicken

This baked chicken recipe coats boneless, skinless breasts in a seasoned blend of panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, lemon pepper, and ranch seasoning. Melted butter helps the coating crisp while baking to a golden finish, resulting in tender chicken with a flavorful, crunchy crust.

Description

Baked Ranch Chicken involves dipping chicken breasts in melted butter, then coating them with a mixture of panko, Parmesan, garlic salt, lemon pepper, and ranch seasoning. Baking at 350°F allows the chicken to cook through while the topping crisps and browns. Broiling briefly at the end adds extra color and crunch to the panko crust.

The combination of garlic salt and lemon pepper adds savory and citrus notes that complement the ranch seasoning's herb blend. The Parmesan cheese melts to bind crumbs and provide a subtle richness. The result is a satisfying texture contrast between juicy chicken and crispy topping.

Leftover coated chicken can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated in the oven or microwave to preserve texture as much as possible. Preparing the coated chicken ahead and refrigerating before baking helps flavors meld and streamlines meal preparation.
