Baked Salmon

Baked Salmon fillets are coated with a buttery sauce flavored with brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon zest, fresh herbs, and garlic, then baked until just cooked and finished under the broiler to brown the edges. This cooking method yields tender, flavorful salmon with a slightly caramelized top and fresh herb garnish.

Description

The Baked Salmon recipe involves seasoning salmon fillets with a melted butter mixture that combines brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon zest, parsley, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper. The salmon is arranged on a sheet pan and covered with the butter sauce before baking at 400°F until opaque and cooked through, roughly 10 to 11 minutes. A final broil step caramelizes the edges, adding texture and color. The salmon is then garnished with extra fresh parsley before serving.

This approach offers a balance of savory, sweet, and herbaceous flavors that complement the rich, flaky fish. Baking followed by broiling ensures gentle cooking with a light crispness on the surface. The use of fresh herbs and lemon zest adds brightness to the dish, making it suitable for a straightforward dinner preparation without complicated steps.
