Description

Baked Shrimp with Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce uses extra-large shrimp placed in a baking dish and coated with a sauce made by melting butter and briefly sautéing garlic or melting the butter and garlic together. Lemon juice is stirred into the sauce to add brightness, and optional red pepper flakes add a gentle heat. The shrimp are seasoned with salt and black pepper, then baked until cooked through, turning pink and opaque, which usually takes about 9 to 13 minutes.

The final touch of fresh minced parsley adds color and a fresh herbaceous note. The result is a tender and moist shrimp dish with a buttery sauce enhanced by the zest of lemon and the aroma of garlic. This straightforward method requires minimal ingredients and is suitable as a main dish paired with rice or vegetables or served as a warm appetizer with bread to soak up the sauce.
