Baked Steak with Vegetables
Description
Baked Steak with Vegetables features a 2-pound flank steak prepared simply by rubbing with oil and salt, then baked at 400°F. After initial cooking, a vibrant mix of asparagus, broccoli, purple onion, and bell pepper is added to the baking sheet to roast with the steak. The vegetables are seasoned with salt and pepper to enhance their natural flavors. The steak finishes cooking to the desired level, with an option to broil briefly to brown the exterior. After resting, the steak is sliced into strips and served with the tender, roasted vegetables. This approach makes a straightforward and filling dish that highlights the contrast between meaty steak and crisp-tender vegetables.
