Balsamic Cherry Crostini

Balsamic Cherry Crostini pairs softened goat cheese on crisp crostini with a warm cherry sauce made from balsamic vinegar, fresh rosemary, and brown sugar. Topped with candied walnuts and a sprinkle of sea salt and rosemary, this appetizer balances creamy, sweet, and tangy flavors with crunchy textures, perfect for serving at gatherings or as a snack.

Description

This appetizer begins by gently cooking pitted cherries with balsamic vinegar, fresh rosemary, and brown sugar to soften the fruit and concentrate flavors into a thick sauce. The tangy balsamic and herbaceous rosemary complement the natural cherry sweetness.

The tart goat cheese is spread evenly over toasted crostini, providing a creamy base for the warm cherry sauce spooned on top. Candied walnuts add a crunchy, caramelized contrast, while Maldon sea salt and fresh rosemary finish the dish with flavor highlights and visual appeal.

Balsamic Cherry Crostini serves well as a finger food at parties or as a refined snack. The components can be prepared in advance and assembled just before serving to maintain crispness.
