Balsamic Chicken recipe

Report
Balsamic Chicken recipe quickly browns boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a skillet before simmering them in a sweetened balsamic vinegar sauce made with brown sugar and water. The simmering step finishes the cooking while infusing the chicken with a tangy glaze. The sauce reduces uncovered to intensify flavor and coat the chicken for serving.

Description

This recipe starts by thinning the chicken breasts through filleting or pounding to ensure even cooking. The chicken is then seasoned with black pepper and browned on both sides in a lightly oiled skillet to develop a golden crust. Brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, and water are added, and the mixture is brought to a simmer.

Covering the pan allows the chicken to cook through in the simmering balsamic mixture for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping occasionally to coat the meat evenly. Removing the lid at the end lets the sauce reduce, thickening the glaze around the chicken. The finished dish features chicken with a balanced sweet and tangy flavor, ideal for pairing with a variety of side dishes.

The recipe’s simplicity makes it easy to prepare on a weeknight, and the sauce ingredients are common pantry items. This method offers a way to enjoy flavorful chicken breasts without complicated preparation steps, emphasizing the contrasting notes of balsamic vinegar and brown sugar.
