Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Description
Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts are prepared by trimming and halving the sprouts, then coating them evenly with olive oil, aged balsamic vinegar, and salt. Roasting them cut side down in a hot oven encourages browning and caramelization, which develops a rich, slightly sweet flavor from the balsamic vinegar. The roasting time of 30 to 40 minutes allows the sprouts to become tender inside while maintaining some texture. Tossing halfway through ensures even cooking. This side dish pairs well with roasted meats or as part of a vegetable medley.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved

- Preheat oven to 400°F
