Banana Muffins

These Banana Muffins combine ripe mashed bananas with a mix of flour, cinnamon, baking powder and soda, sugar, egg, vanilla, and melted butter to create soft, moist muffins with a tender crumb and mild spice from the cinnamon. Baked until golden, the muffins offer a balanced sweetness and warm flavor. They suit breakfast or snacks and highlight ripe banana flavor without being overly sweet.

Description

Banana Muffins bring together mashed bananas with dry ingredients—flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt—alongside brown and white sugar, beaten egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter. The batter is mixed just until combined to avoid tough muffins. Baking at 375°F in a lined muffin pan produces a golden crust and moist interior. The cinnamon adds a warm note complementing the bananas. These muffins have a tender crumb that holds moisture without being dense.

The recipe yields about 10 muffins, suitable for a convenient breakfast or snack. They're simple to prepare using common pantry ingredients and ripe bananas to reduce waste. The balance of sugars and ripe banana ensures flavor without excess sweetness.
