Banana Nutella Muffins

These Banana Nutella Muffins combine ripe mashed bananas with pancake mix, milk, oil, eggs, and brown sugar for a moist, lightly sweetened muffin. Swirls of Nutella throughout add chocolate-hazelnut richness and a marbled effect, offering a tender, soft crumb suitable for breakfast or snack.

Description

The recipe involves mixing mashed very ripe bananas with a basic batter composed of 2 cups pancake mix, whole milk, vegetable oil, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. The ingredients are lightly combined to avoid overmixing and maintain tenderness. Nutella dollops are added then gently swirled in to create pockets of chocolate-hazelnut spread within the muffins.

The batter is portioned into lined muffin tins and baked at 350°F for 22 to 25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs. The result is a soft muffin with moist crumb due to the bananas and a touch of sweetness plus a distinctive Nutella flavor in swirls.

These muffins offer a convenient way to use ripe bananas and introduce a chocolate-hazelnut accent to a quick baked good, appropriate for casual meals or snacks.
