  • ½ cup banana mashed ripe
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped

Instructions

  2. Step 2: Cook the Sugar Mixture – In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Cook over medium heat until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  3. Step 3: Add Butter and Banana – Stir in butter, salt, and mashed banana. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Step 4: Add Walnuts and Vanilla – Remove from heat and quickly stir in walnuts, vanilla, and baking soda. The mixture will bubble.
  5. Step 5: Spread and Cool – Pour onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading evenly. Let cool completely, then break into pieces.
