Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 1 lb chicken thighs
Spices for the chicken
- 2 tsps paprika
- 2 tsps salt
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
For the Bang Bang Sauce
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 cup mayo
- 1/2 cup Sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or preheat your air fryer to 400°F (205°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the Bang Bang Sauce until well combined. Seperate into two bowls, Set aside.
- Cut the chicken into 1" cubes and season the chicken with spices.
- Thread the chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating between chicken breasts and thighs. Bask the chicken skewers in bang bang sauce. Discard the marinade sauce.
- Bake the skewers in the oven for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Alternatively, air fry the skewers for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
- Once the chicken is cooked, brush or spoon the separate Bang Bang Sauce over the skewers, and coat each piece of chicken well. Serve hot.
