Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta

Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta features tender cooked shrimp coated in a creamy, sweet, and mildly spicy sauce made from mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey. Tossed with al dente spaghetti noodles and garlic sautéed in butter, this dish balances rich, tangy, and hot flavors alongside the tender chew of shrimp and noodles. Optional garnishes add freshness and a hint of heat.

Description

The recipe begins by preparing a Bang Bang sauce combining mayonnaise with Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey for a creamy and moderately spicy glaze. The sauce can be refrigerated if not used immediately. Shrimp are seasoned simply with salt and pepper, then cooked briefly in butter with minced garlic until just opaque.

Cooked spaghetti noodles are then added to the shrimp along with the prepared sauce and toss together until the strands are evenly coated. This cooking method preserves the shrimp’s tenderness and allows the noodles to absorb the vibrant sauce flavors. The dish is finished with optional garnishes such as sliced green onions and red pepper flakes for color and a fresh, piquant note.

Serving hot ensures best texture and flavor melding, making this a flavorful pasta dish with a fusion edge from the Bang Bang sauce.
