Barbeque Pork Tenderloin Wraps

Barbecue Pork Tenderloin Wraps feature dry-rubbed, oven-roasted pork tenderloin sliced thinly and wrapped in warm flour tortillas with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, optional onion, shredded cheddar, barbecue sauce, and ranch dressing. The pork is seasoned with a blend of spices that include smoked paprika and chili powder, providing a savory and mildly spicy flavor. These wraps combine tender meat with fresh vegetables and creamy sauces.

Description

The pork tenderloin is seasoned generously with a dry rub containing brown sugar, kosher salt, black pepper, paprika variants, chili powder, cayenne, garlic powder, and dried onion flakes. After sitting briefly, it is oven-roasted to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit, then rested to retain juiciness. Slicing the pork thinly on the diagonal creates tender strips.

The wraps are assembled with warm flour tortillas filled with the pork slices and garnished with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and optional onion for freshness and texture contrast. Shredded cheddar adds richness, while barbecue sauce and ranch dressing contribute tangy, smoky, and creamy elements that complement the pork’s seasoning.

These wraps offer a balanced combination of smoky meat, crisp vegetables, and creamy condiments, making them suitable for casual meals or gatherings. The recipe suggests grilling the pork as an alternative cooking method.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin dry rubbed, cooked, sliced on the diagonal
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion flakes dry
  • lettuce chopped
  • diced tomatoes
  • onion optional, diced
  • cheddar cheese shredded
  • barbecue sauce
  • ranch dressing
  • flour tortillas warmed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Put some aluminum foil down on a lined baking sheet, then spray it with nonstick spray.
  2. Combine all rub ingredients in a small dish (brown sugar through the dry onion flakes.) Pat your pork with a paper towel if it is wet. Rub the spices generously all over the pork tenderloin and let sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Cook for 30-35 minutes or until an instant read thermometer reads 145 degrees. Cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing very thinly on a diagonal. You could grill the pork tenderloin too if you wanted.
  4. Take a warm tortilla and fill it with meat and whatever fixings you want. Just don't forget the barbeque sauce and ranch! It totally makes it!
