Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 °F.
- Prepare a 9x13 baking pan by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cut Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottoms in your prepared baking pan.
- Spread 3 tablespoons of butter on rolls.
- Mix shredded chicken and barbeque sauce together.
- Spread shredded chicken evenly over top of rolls.
- Sprinkle garlic powder over top of chicken.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Place the tops of the rolls on top.
- Melt remaining butter and brush it over top of the rolls.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over rolls.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and rolls are golden brown.
Notes
- Do not overbake the sliders. Once cheese is melted and top is golden remove from oven.
- Serve immediately while warm so bread doesn't harden.
- Hawaiian rolls are generally connected to one another in the package which makes slicing the rolls in half quick and easy with a sharp serrated knife.
- If you're using leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken that's cooled, warm it up a bit before shredding it. Warm meat shreds far more easily than cool meat.
