BBQ Pork Chops Recipe

This BBQ Pork Chops recipe features boneless pork chops baked with a homemade tangy and sweet barbecue sauce made from ketchup, apple cider vinegar, sugars, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. The sauce simmers and thickens before coating the chops, adding rich layers of flavor. Baking at a high temperature cooks the pork to tenderness while caramelizing the sauce on top. It’s a simple preparation that brings out the pork’s juiciness and creates a sticky, flavorful glaze.

Description

The BBQ Pork Chops Recipe uses a sauce simmered on the stove combining ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown and white sugars, yellow mustard, lemon juice, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. This mixture develops a balanced sweet, tangy, and lightly spicy profile. Pork chops are seasoned with salt and pepper, then baked at 425°F while coated with the prepared sauce, which cooks into a glossy glaze.

With a bake time of 15-20 minutes, the pork remains tender and juicy beneath the sticky barbecue coating. This method is practical for home cooks looking to make flavorful, juicy pork chops without grilling. The combination of ketchup and vinegar imparts a classic barbecue flavor that pairs nicely with sides like coleslaw or roasted vegetables.

Lining the baking pan with aluminum foil can help minimize cleanup after cooking.
