Beach Pudding Shots
Description
The Beach Pudding Shots recipe combines instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk and coconut-flavored rum, enhanced visually with blue food coloring. The mixture is poured into cups and garnished with graham cracker crumbs that add a hint of crunch. Peach ring gummies, with a gummi bear centerpiece, provide a chewier contrast in texture and a playful visual appeal. The shots are kept refrigerated, ensuring a cool, creamy dessert experience that balances sweetness and the mild alcohol flavor from the rum.
The texture is creamy and soft from the pudding base, with occasional crunch from the crumbs and chewiness from the gummies, making each shot entertaining both in presentation and mouthfeel. The coconut rum contributes a light tropical note that complements the vanilla pudding. The portion size is small, presented in shot cups, making them an easy dessert or party snack.
This dessert works well chilled, making it suitable for warm-weather gatherings or beach-themed parties. Its small portions encourage sampling and sharing. The mixture can be adjusted for alcohol strength by varying the amount of rum used.
The pudding shots keep well for three to four days refrigerated. Adjusting the size of the cups allows for more or fewer servings as needed. Blue food coloring adds a distinct color without impacting flavor. Careful layering of elements ensures appealing presentation.
