  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 stalks celery sliced
  • 1 large carrot julienned
  • 1 medium bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup Snow peas
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts drained

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onion, celery, carrot, bell pepper, mushrooms, and snow peas. Stir-fry until vegetables are tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes. Add garlic and stir-fry for an additional minute.
  4. Return the beef to the skillet. Add the prepared sauce and water chestnuts. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce is thickened and everything is heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
