Beef Stroganoff Soup
Description
Beef Stroganoff Soup starts by searing seasoned beef stew meat for depth of flavor and then cooking it with onions in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to build a savory base. After simmering for an hour, sliced mushrooms, cooked egg noodles, cream cheese, and sour cream are added to create a creamy texture while retaining the traditional stroganoff flavor profile.
The soup has a rich, smooth texture with tender beef pieces and the earthiness of mushrooms, complemented by the tang and creaminess of sour cream and cream cheese. The egg noodles soften into the broth but hold their shape, making the soup hearty and filling.
This soup is best served hot and can be a main meal on its own or paired with crusty bread. Since the noodles absorb broth over time, it is best enjoyed soon after cooking for optimal texture.
