Beer Bread
Description
Beer Bread offers a straightforward baking process where beer acts as the liquid and leavening agent combined with baking powder. The mixture of flour, sugar, and salt creates a mildly sweet, hearty dough. After stirring to just combine, the batter goes into a greased loaf pan, topped with melted butter to enhance the crust's texture and taste. Baking at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes produces a loaf with a tender crumb and a crisp, buttery crust. This bread works well as a side for soups or stews and can also be used for sandwiches.
