Berry Fruit Salad
Description
The Berry Fruit Salad features a medley of fresh berries including blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries. The berries are combined with a dressing made from lime zest and juice, honey, and finely chopped mint. The honey is warmed briefly to help it drizzle smoothly over the fruit, ensuring even coating and enhanced sweetness balanced by the lime’s acidity.
The fresh mint adds a cooling herbal note, complementing the berries' natural tartness and sweetness. The salad has a juicy, tender texture with a refreshing brightness from the lime and mint.
This fruit salad is best eaten on the day of preparation to maintain the berries' firmness and the fresh flavors of the dressing, making it a pleasant, light accompaniment to a meal or a refreshing snack on its own.
