Best Ever Monster Cookies

Best Ever Monster Cookies combine peanut butter, butter, molasses, eggs, sugar, oats, flour, and spices into a thick dough, with optional mix-ins like chocolate chips, M&Ms, dried fruit, or nuts. The cookies bake until just golden at the edges, offering a chewy texture with varied sweetness and crunch from the mix-ins. They are dropped in golf-ball-sized portions for large, satisfying cookies.

Description

Best Ever Monster Cookies start by creaming together peanut butter, butter, molasses, and vanilla, then adding eggs and sugar. Rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon are whisked then gradually mixed into the wet ingredients to form the dough. Optional add-ins such as chocolate or peanut butter M&Ms, various baking chips, toffee bits, dried fruits, or chopped nuts can be gently folded in. Cookie dough is portioned with a scoop into approximately golf-ball-sized drops on parchment-lined baking sheets. Baking at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes yields cookies that are golden on the edges but remain chewy inside.

The peanut butter and molasses provide a rich, deep sweetness while oats add hearty texture. Mix-ins add color, crunch, or bursts of flavor. Baking time controls the softness or crispness of the cookie outer edges.

These cookies make a hearty snack or dessert with complexity in both texture and taste. Customizable mix-ins allow catering to different preferences.

Nutrition facts vary depending on chosen mix-ins. The recipe is flexible to accommodate various add-ins for diversity in flavor and texture.
