Best Turkey Burgers
Description
This recipe calls for mixing ground turkey with finely minced yellow onion, jalapeño, honey or maple syrup, fresh parsley, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, oregano, cumin, and salt. Formed into patties, they cook in a skillet or grill until fully cooked. The corn salsa adds sweetness and acidity with corn, jalapeño, red onion, cilantro, lime, lemon juice, and salt. A creamy avocado sauce blends ripe avocado, cilantro, jalapeño, Greek yogurt, lime juice, honey, and salt for a smooth, tangy condiment.
The combination of sweet, smoky, and spicy flavors in the patty pairs well with the fresh, tangy corn salsa and the creamy, herby avocado sauce. Toasted brioche buns add softness and mild sweetness to complete the burger.
