  • 1 pizza crust 12-inch, store-bought
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • 1/2 cup pickle diced
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F. Place the store-bought pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Season the cooked ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir to combine.
  4. Spread the Thousand Island dressing evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the sauce.
  6. Top the cheese with the seasoned ground beef, diced onions, and diced pickles.
  7. Bake the pizza for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle the shredded lettuce and sesame seeds evenly over the top of the pizza.
  10. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • - You could also use lean ground beef to reduce the amount of excess fat and ensure a crispier pizza crust.
  • - If you prefer a less sweet sauce, mix the Thousand Island dressing with a bit of tomato sauce or paste to balance the flavors.
