Big Mac Salad
Description
Big Mac Salad assembles key elements inspired by the classic burger into a layered salad. Ground beef is browned and seasoned simply with salt and pepper, providing a savory base. Fresh romaine lettuce adds a crisp texture, complemented by the sharpness of thin red onion slices and the sweet acidity of cherry tomatoes and dill pickles. Shredded cheddar cheese contributes richness and color.
The distinctive Big Mac sauce, combining mayonnaise, French dressing, pickle relish, vinegar, and seasonings like paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder, ties the salad together with its creamy, tangy profile. The salad is assembled by layering the cooled ground beef atop the lettuce, followed by vegetables and cheese, then drizzled with the sauce.
This makes a satisfying dish that reinterprets familiar burger flavors in salad form, offering a mix of textures from crunchy to creamy and a balance of savory, tangy, and mildly sweet notes. It can be served as a main course or a hearty side salad.
