Big Mac Tator Tot Casserole

Report
Big Mac Tator Tot Casserole layers cooked ground beef seasoned with diced onions, pickles, garlic powder, salt, and pepper mixed with Big Mac sauce and American cheese, topped with crispy frozen tater tots. Baked until golden, the casserole is finished with fresh diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and extra sauce for a hearty dish that recalls the flavors of a Big Mac burger.

Description

The Big Mac Tator Tot Casserole recipe starts by browning ground beef with diced onions and seasoning it with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Big Mac sauce and diced pickles are folded into the mixture along with slices of American cheese, which melt into the beef as it cooks.

The beef mixture is spread into a baking dish and topped evenly with tater tots, which crisp and brown while baking uncovered for 45 minutes, creating a contrast of textures between the tender meat layer and crunchy potato topping.

After baking, the casserole is garnished with fresh diced tomatoes, shredded iceberg lettuce, and optionally more Big Mac sauce, providing fresh and tangy contrast to the rich beef and cheese base. This dish is suitable for casual meals where familiar burger flavors are desired in a comforting format.
