Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Casserole

Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Casserole layers broken biscuit pieces with cooked breakfast sausage and shredded cheddar, topped with an egg and milk mixture and peppered gravy. Baked until set, the casserole combines fluffy biscuits with savory sausage and creamy gravy in a hearty, warm breakfast dish.

Description

This casserole uses pre-made biscuits cut into pieces as the base, topped with cooked mild sausage and shredded cheddar cheese. A whisked mixture of eggs and milk seasoned with salt and pepper is poured over the layered ingredients to bind them as it bakes. Finally, prepared peppered gravy is added on top before baking.

The casserole bakes at 350°F until the eggs are cooked through, and biscuits become tender, forming a comforting blend of flavors and textures. The dish is filling and suitable for breakfast or brunch.
