Bisquick Garlic Cheddar Biscuits
Description
This recipe uses Bisquick mix combined with shredded cheddar cheese and garlic for savory flavor. Part of the garlic is lightly sautéed in butter to mellow its sharpness and meld with chopped fresh parsley, which is stirred into the biscuit batter along with remaining raw garlic for layered garlicky notes.
The batter is dropped by spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and baked initially to set the shape, then brushed with the garlic butter and returned to the oven briefly to develop a flavorful, slightly crisp bottom. The resulting biscuits are tender with a golden exterior and a cheesy, herbaceous character.
Prepared at 400°F, the biscuits bake quickly and are ideal for serving alongside soups, salads, or breakfast dishes where a savory biscuit complements the meal.
