Black Bean Hummus

Creamy black bean hummus is a healthy and flavorful dip that is a perfect appetizer or snack. Black beans blended with olive oil, lime juice, garlic, delicious spices, cilantro, and tahini create the tastiest hummus you will ever have.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic peeled
  • 28 ounces black beans drained and rinsed, canned
  • 1/4 cup olive oil more if needed and for drizzle
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seed ground
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt coarse

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Add more oil in small amounts if the hummus is too thick.
  3. Garnish with fresh cilantro and olive oil drizzled on top.
  4. Enjoy with fresh vegetables, tortilla chips, crackers, or on a sandwich or burger as a spread.
