Black Bean Salsa
Description
This Black Bean Salsa recipe mixes rinsed black beans with thawed corn and diced green chiles for a hearty base. Fresh diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, and finely chopped jalapeño bring brightness and a mild heat, balanced by fresh cilantro. The dressing of lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper ties these ingredients together with acidity and warm spice notes. The salsa is tossed gently to keep the ingredients intact and can be enjoyed at room temperature or chilled after refrigerating for about an hour.
It serves as a versatile accompaniment to tortilla chips or as a fresh topping to enhance tacos, salads, and bowls with its wholesome, textured mix. Leftovers should be kept in an airtight container and consumed within five days for optimal freshness.
