BLAT Wrap

The BLAT Wrap combines seasoned mayonnaise spread on whole grain wraps with layers of sliced tomato, cooked bacon, fresh avocado slices, and peppery arugula. Rolling these ingredients together creates a balanced wrap with crisp, creamy, savory, and slightly spicy elements. This handheld wrap is a lighter alternative to traditional bacon sandwiches and offers fresh textures and flavors.

Description

In this BLAT Wrap, mayonnaise is seasoned with a dash of seasoned salt and spread evenly over large whole grain wraps. Slices of fresh tomato add juiciness and color, while cooked bacon slices provide smoky, crispy savoriness. Fresh avocado slices contribute creaminess and mild flavor, contrasting nicely with the slightly peppery arugula leaves on top. The wrap is rolled tightly and sliced on the diagonal for easy serving.

The seasoned mayonnaise enhances overall flavor balance and moisture, while the variety of textures—from crispy bacon to smooth avocado and soft tomato—makes each bite satisfying. The arugula adds a peppery note and freshness that complements the richness of bacon and mayo.

This wrap suits lunch or a quick light meal and can be adapted by substituting light mayonnaise or swapping seasoned mayo with ranch dressing. Replacing the wrap with lettuce leaves can lower carbohydrates while maintaining the core flavors of a BLAT.
