  • 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil 160 milliliters
  • 1/3 cup blood orange juice about 1 large blood orange, freshly squeezed, 80 milliliters
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar 44 milliliters
  • 1 tablespoon honey 15 milliliters
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic peeled and minced, clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, blood orange juice, red wine vinegar, honey, dijon mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper. Adjust to taste. Transfer to a small sealable jar or cruet.
  2. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Shake 10-15 seconds to blend before pouring over salad.
