Bloody Mary Mix

This Bloody Mary Mix blends tomato juice with horseradish, fresh lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, kosher salt, and hot sauce to create a savory, spicy base for the cocktail. Optional vodka and celery sticks are added for serving, with the ability to rim glasses with celery salt. The mix offers a balanced, flavorful foundation for assembling classic Bloody Mary drinks.

Description

The Bloody Mary Mix recipe involves combining tomato juice with prepared horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, freshly ground black pepper, kosher salt, and hot sauce to build a savory and slightly spicy flavor profile. The mixture can be shaken or stirred well and either served immediately or allowed to rest to meld flavors further. Large bits of horseradish and pepper may remain, which can be strained or left in according to preference.

For serving, glasses are rimmed with celery salt and filled with ice before pouring the mix, optionally topped with vodka. A celery stick garnish adds aromatic freshness and texture. The resulting cocktail mix is suitable for brunch or any Bloody Mary occasion, with a customizable spice level depending on hot sauce quantity.
