Bloody Mary Recipe

This Bloody Mary combines tomato juice with vodka, horseradish, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce to make a savory, tangy cocktail. The optional celery salt rim and fresh garnishes like celery stalks, parsley, olives, and lime wedges add aroma and crunch, enhancing the layered flavors. The drink is shaken with ice for a chilled and slightly spicy profile, ideal for brunch or as a flavorful cocktail option.

Description

The Bloody Mary Recipe balances tomato juice with vodka and seasonings such as prepared horseradish, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and freshly ground black pepper. These ingredients deliver a spicy, tangy, and slightly pungent flavor profile. The optional celery salt rim complements the savory notes and adds texture.

The preparation involves salting the glass rim with lemon and lime wedges and celery salt, then filling the glass with ice. The mixture is shaken vigorously in a cocktail shaker and strained back into the prepared glass. Fresh garnishes like celery stalks, parsley, olives, and lime wedges contribute freshness and a contrasting bite.

This cocktail suits those looking for a flavorful, cold drink with spicy, umami layers from the horseradish and Worcestershire sauce. Its complex taste and refreshing chill make it popular for brunch settings or as an evening appetizer beverage.
